Ashclan

Ashclan lives in the heart of the redwood forest. The camp is under a ~30 foot cliff, with a small, mostly seasonal waterfall collecting in a stream at the edge. They are currently led by Cloverstar.

Warriors often roll in redwood soot to camouflage themselves while hunting. Their constant ingestion of charcoal makes medicine less effective, but they get poisoned less. They also have dark tongues from licking soot off, and cats develop a raspy voice faster than other clans. This soot is also found in the nursery, a hollow, burnt log, which constantly dusts the kits and queens with a light layer of soot.

Ashclan cats are great swimmers, and they often use the numerous streams winding through their territory as paths, especially on hot days. This is also how they typically clean their pelts of soot, though there's always some left over.

Duskclan

Duskclan lives on the cliffs and shores at the edge of the forests. Their camp is tucked away in a hidden cove, with scrub hiding the entrances and steep cliffs protecting the camp from wandering beachgoers. Duskclan is currently led by Shellstar.

As a clan that lives near the twoleg beaches, Duskclan is in near constant contact with the strange creatures. Much of their camp is made up of twoleg objects, and the whole clan has a deep understanding of the habits of twolegs. However, careless warriors and new apprentices are taken by twolegs often, usually coming back to the camp unable to have kits of their own.

Though they live near the water, Duskclan cats avoid swimming to the best of their ability. Cats are no match for the powerful ocean, and falling in could result in their death, especially when close to the cliffs, or if they get stuck in an underwater cave.

Sageclan

Sageclan lives in the chapparal lined with oak forests. Their camp is below a large oak tree, with low branches and a thick trunk. Surrounding the branches, the harsh scrubland provides a wall to protect the camp from the outside dangers. Sageclan is currently led by Quailstar.

Due to the thick undergrowth in Sageclan territory, most Sageclan cats have scars all over their muzzles and legs. They tend to be lithe, have fast reflexes, and keep their eyes squinted to protect from stray twigs.

Every newleaf, Starclan sends birds to nest in the camps' main oak tree. These birds are not to be eaten, instead, the medic must listen to their songs and interpret the special signs from Starclan. Sageclan is believed to be the closest to Starclan of all the clans, as the birds continue coming back, and they have a full view of the sky, only rarely broken by trees or cliffs.

Triclan

Shared areas between the clans include the Moon-Mist Clearing, the Gathering Place (yet to be given a good name), and the Old Farm. For Smokewatchers, the whole of every territory is a shared area, giving them more roaming power than even Medics.
